This training aid found in Erin Hills can fix your weight transfer

In the final preparations for opening up for American women, Angel Yin was seen using simple training aid to teach appropriate weight transfer.

Hartford, Wisconsin – Professionals – They are like us. OK, maybe not only Like us, but sometimes we share more in common with them than we imagine.

A suitable example: Angel Mega at the U.S. Women’s Open.

Apart from being one of the most entertaining players on the golf course, Yin is not afraid to break training aid to fix her swing, even during Grand Slam time.

There was a black bar when the players made their final swing adjustment before the second-biggest major in the second year as I walked into the range late Wednesday afternoon. After several warm-up swings, she walked over to her bag and grabbed a training aid that looked like something the fighters would use on the weekends.

Yin’s training assistance

Training aid Yin pulled out of his schoolbag and looked like a door stop, she tied it to her right (diameter) foot. It turns out that this training aid is called a “wedge power supply” and is mainly aimed at sales for baseball and softball players. However, it can also be used as an excellent golf training aid.

With the auxiliary seam below the inside of the trail foot, it forces you to turn your weight toward your target during the descent. Without it, it’s easy to hang on your path side, leaving a lot of power on the table.

There are many training aids in the golf space that fit the same principle, but this is the most compact version I have ever encountered. Also, if it works for the LPGA Tour champion, it has to work very well.

If you are someone who struggles to transfer weight during the swing, such training assistance may be what you need. You can buy one here or browse similar products below.
