Seattle Kraken hosted the Utah Hockey Club on Friday, March 14. Despite close matches in the first two periods, Kraken broke the tie with two goals in the third goal, giving the home team a 4-2 victory.

Even in the first phase there wasn’t a minute, Claken broke the ice first. Eeli Tolvanen missed the pass from Utah, owning the hockey. He handed it to Chandler Stephenson, who sent it back to Torvanen immediately. From the confrontation circle, he shot one shot and sent the puck to Karel Vejmelka.
With three minutes left in the first minute, the hockey club tied up the score. Kevin Stenlund slid the puck to the offensive zone in Utah. As he got closer and closer to the goal, he passed the Iceman to Nick Schmaltz. Schmaltz shot into the empty space of the net and played for the visiting team all night.
Seven minutes after the second phase, visitors took the lead. Michael Carcone slides the puck to the net. He passed to John Marino, who was on the other side of the goal. He saw Philipp Gruabuer tilting from the crease to stop him and quickly lead to Stenlund. Stenlund opened an open net in front of him, giving Utah a lead.
With 1:06 left in the second second, Kraken tied the game up again. Jordan Eberle put the hockey on the board and passed it to Brandon Montour on the net. Montotu doesn’t even need to move. The puck bounced off his skateboard and entered the back of the net to tie the game.
In the nine minutes of the third phase, Jaden Schwartz shot and broke his tie online. This seemed like a good goal, but after reviewing the game, I found the puck bounced off the bar. The score remains 2-2.
Two minutes after the false alarm, Seattle broke its tie. Mikhail Sergachev tried to deliver the puck to the board, but Kaapo Kakko picked up the loose puck near the net. He slid it to the other side and hit the ball with a surround shot, scoring the third goal of the night for Aquaman.
One minute and change remained in the third inning, Torvanin sent the puck into the empty net to consolidate Kkaken’s victory.

Kraken will be hosting the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, March 16 to resume operations. It’s also the first time Brandon Tanev has returned to Seattle since the deadline trading. The Utah Hockey Club will also play again on Sunday as they head north to the Vancouver Canucks.
