The most dangerous golfer is the Deadeye putter. When someone can pour it from the green, they never fall off. And, when a great putter rolls, the cup looks like the size of a basketball basket.
We’ve all seen this happen in Pro Golf and maybe in your weekend money game. It is impossible to predict a day like this will happen – you just need to hope and pray that you are on the right.
When it comes to putting, everyone has their own philosophy, but what all great puttings have in common is that they nail their own settings. If you want to push the rod in any form, you must have a solid fundamental before pulling the trigger.
Dave Phillips, the top 100 teacher in golf, taught a handful of travel experts and watched hundreds. Although he saw many different philosophy of inference, he said they all used some kind of setup technique.
Great putter sharing
When great putters are prepared for their turn, they always collect information to inform how the putter rolls. Once they settled, they set their eyes on the middle target of hope ball rolling.
“What they do is once they have chosen their position and read their lines, they go into the putter, aim the putter at their position and then continue to view that entry point [they] take [their] Phillips said, gesture. This is a great way to get your body to watch what they see. ”
Many amateurs make a mistake in pose and setting, and this is square and never changes.
“They look up and don’t like what they see,” Phillips said. “Then they just adjust the face or move the body, not adjust the body, which causes inconsistent putting.”
Phillips said he observed great putters to the hands and adjusted their position until they hit the putter. This happens because of the reaction they react to their eyes telling them.
“They’ll put them down and line up,” he said. “Then they’ll feel comfortable, finally grab it, take another look and confirm that it’s where they want it, and then they keep touching the putter.”
