Spurs captain Son Heung Min calls it a “Tottenham Hotspur legend” after the Australian was fired after he was fired within 17 years.
Postecoglou led the Spurs to have few Europa League wins two weeks ago, meaning the club will make its debut in its next Champions League, but the 59-year-old was removed from duty on Friday.

“You trust me as a captain. One of the highest honors in my career. Getting close to you is an incredible privilege. I am a better player and a better person because of you.
“Ange Postecoglou, you are a legend of Tottenham Hotspur.
We are very grateful to Ange for his commitment and contributions during his two years at the club.
Ange will always be remembered as the third manager in our history to offer European trophy.
