Tottenham Hotspurs has made Everton’s Vitaliy Mykolenko one of the lower left targets in the summer transfer window.
The Spurs will improve their defensive forces after an injury season. Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin and Destiny Udogie all spent time off the court.
They signed a buy obligation at the end of the season in January, central defender Kevin Danso, who was loaned from RC Lens. Romero and Van de Ven are vulnerable to injury, so in the summer, the Lily White can sign new centre-backs. Additionally, they hope to be a new left-back with Wolves star Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Tottenham Hotspur plans to bid €35 million to Ait-Nouri, but Wolf value him about €50/60 million. The Spurs have reportedly lined up Vitaliy mykolenko if they fail to land on the Algerian international.
Tottenham want Vitaliy mykolenko
Mykolenko, 25, joined Everton from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2022. The left-back has won 114 appearances for Merseyside costumes so far, netting three goals and assisting twice. He has played a key role in helping Everton beat the relegation over the past two seasons.
After Ukraine International becomes a reliable player for Toffees, he may seek new ranches as he enters the final year of his contract. Mykolenko will have hope of playing in Europe and challenge the trophy instead of fighting Everton’s relegation. This may make the stimulation tempting possibility.
The Spurs will lose Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davies this summer after their contract expires, while Ange Postecoglou has only Destiny Udogie. So Tottenham is interested in recruiting new left-backs, and someone like Mykolenko is perfect for the bill.
The Premier League has proven that perhaps will enter his peak period, and the Everton man will fit in with Ange Postecoglou’s offensive, high-pressure system. While his numbers at Goodison Park aren’t well read on the left-back’s offense, Mykolenko may be a good option to compete with Udogie next season with Udogie.
Apart from this summer, Tottenham Hotspur can get his signature fact at a cheap price. So if Ait-Nouri is not possible, the North Londoner must go to Mykolenko to strengthen its defensive squad without hesitation.
