Two deaths and hundreds arrested after the outbreak of France after historic PSG Champions League victory

According to French authorities, two people died after chaos broke out across France and a policeman fell into a coma.

The National Police Department said a 17-year-old boy was reportedly stabbed to death at a PSG Street party in Dax City, while the Interior Minister’s Office said a 23-year-old man was hit by a car in Paris during the celebration.

French authorities also confirmed that a policeman in the Normandy area was accidentally attacked by fireworks and placed in a artificial coma.

After PSG won 5-0 to beat Munich’s Inter Milan 5-0, supporters arrested more than 500 people amid the chaos when they clashed with the French capital with police.

During the match, Star Man Desire Doue played a stand, while goals from Achraf Hakimi, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute Senny Mayu ensured that the Ligue 1 winner won the first Champions League trophy ever and won the biggest championship record in the match.

Luis Enrique’s team gleamed at night as they finished the season with trebles. But the celebrations that night were damaged by the chaos in France.

PSG forward Ousmane Dembele called for peace in a post-match interview with Canal+, saying: “Let’s celebrate this, but don’t tear everything in Paris.”

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau posted on social media on Saturday after the game, calling the perpetrator a “barbarian.”

He wrote: “Real PSG fans are excited about the outstanding performance of their team. Meanwhile, the Barbarians took Paris street crime and inspired law enforcement.

“It is unbearable to attend a party without fear of a few savages who respect disrespectful thugs.”

Paris Police Chief Laurent Nunez insisted on dealing with “sabotagers and lawyers’ offenders” but did confirm the march of the PSG team on Champs-elysees despite the increase in police presence.
