Utah show off flawless power show beats 5-3 stumbling blocks – Hockey Writer – Utah Hockey Club

The special team beat the Utah Hockey Club 5-3 (37-30-13) at the American Airlines Center 5-3.

Barrett Hayton, Sean Durzi, Logan Cooley, Josh Doan and Nick Schmaltz scored at the hockey club. Karel Vejmelka scored 21 saves in the win.

Wyatt Johnston, Brendan Smith and Jason Robertson scored in Dallas. Casey Desmith saved 29 times in the loss.

Game review

Johnston played in Dallas Saturday night with his 32nd goal of the season, playing in the opening frame at 2:48. Johnston buried the TIC-TAC-TOE drama of Roope Hintz and Mikko Rantanen.

Utah tied up his own power ball goal at 8:11 as Haydn shot from Mikhail Sergachev’s angle.

Smith scored his first goal of the season, and an explosion occurred from the left circle within 32 seconds of the second phase. The goal was his first star member and his first since last season on April 6.

Durz is still in the power play and equalized it 2-2 with the slot’s single time in less than a minute.

At 7:04, Cooley made an appointment from the bottom of the left circle and Jamie Benn missed the opening opportunity on the other end.

Doan doubled Utah’s lead with another powerful goal at 18:06 in the battle for the top of the crease.

40 seconds later, Robertson found out from a beautiful pass from Dumba and brought the stars into one after the Left Post.

Just five minutes away from the last 20 minutes, Schmaltz restored Utah’s two-goal lead with another powerful goal. The goal is Schmalz’s 19th goal of the season and Utah’s fourth strong goal.

In the last minute of the game, Jamie Benn and his hometown fans believed that the star captain scored his 400th career goal but was overturned due to goalkeeper intervention.

In a 5-3 victory, Utah outstripped the stars by 34-24 and scored a 4-4 perfection in the power game. Stars have a 4-4 advantage.
