Manchester United’s injury increased during international break
So far, the Red Devils have had quite a successful international breakthrough as they don’t have many players on international responsibilities and have seen forward Rastus Hojlund again as he helped Denmark beat Portugal 1-0 last week.

United are keen to sign a new defender but face fierce competition from multiple European clubs.
United won’t resume operations until next Tuesday, with the break being the time to allow some injured players to return to training at due time. Ruben Amorim has nine players against Leicester City, plus Patrick Dorgu has a pause, but he may be welcomed.
Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo aim to return to matchday against Nottingham Forest. Meanwhile, Ayden Heaven is also competing for the game in the city after coming out of the protective boots. Manchester Evening News reported that their chance to play with the Forest had rested this week’s training.
Meanwhile, winger Amad Diallo laughed at supporters on Monday night, and he could have been earlier than expected. Ivory Coast International damaged his ankle ligaments during training last month and suspected he would be until the end of the season, but Amad could recover before the campaign ends.
Manchester United desperately hopes to change Harry Maguire’s salary
When Amorim prays that he has some major players back for the last step, Ineos is looking for a summer transfer window and is eager to unload several players. According to TeamTalk, Man United is now ready to sell Maguire and replace him with Jarrad Branthwaite.
The report notes that the Red Devils have been working to move the 32-year-old to the past two transfer windows, but the club has withdrawn from any potential deals as he makes £10m a year at Old Trafford.
It goes on to add that United are now selling Maguire in “desperate” because they want to take their wages from books and raise funds, which could help them sign Branthwaite, who was called “monster” by scout/writer Jacek Kulig.

Branthwaite has a high spot in Manchester United’s target list, but Everton’s valuation may make it difficult for United to sign the British. So the Red Devils will hope that Maguire can clear some money and space to bring Branthwaite to Old Trafford.
Maguire has been a unified player since August 2019 and despite his negation, he is still a major player behind him. He has played 28 times in all matches this season and has started 12 games in the Premier League so far under Amorim.
