Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk has called on club supporters to create a daunting atmosphere at Anfield as the team pushes toward the glory of the Premier League.

A key advantage Liverpool has favored is their remaining fixed list – seven of their last 11 league games will be held at Anfield, a venue known for its electric atmosphere.
Van Dijk urges club fans to use this energy and turn their home stadium into a daunting prospect for visiting the team.

The victory over the city is particularly important as it marks Liverpool’s first Premier League victory at Etihad Stadium in a decade.
The result blocked four tough games in just 15 days, with the now Reds going to host Newcastle at Anfield on Wednesday night.
“It’s a huge win,” he said. “I told the guy, ‘Don’t take those wins for granted, but when you get home, recover and prepare for Newcastle.”

Van Dijk has been at the heart of Liverpool’s Ministry of Defence this season, and they have played every minute of the Premier League campaign.
His leadership is useful, especially given the injury concerns surrounding his defensive partners, including Ibrahim Connant, Joe Gomez and Jarrell Kunsa.
However, as his current contract expires at the end of the season, uncertainty continues to exist for Van Dijk’s future in Anfield.
Nevertheless, his commitment on the court has remained unwavering as Liverpool continues to pursue domestic glory.
