Rudd Van Nistelrooy was disappointed with Leicester’s passive first-half show, which led to West Ham’s 2-0 defeat.
The 19th-place foxes took a further relegation to their relegation in the li-line show in east London, and West Ham all needed to record the victory before the break, which gave them 5 points safe.
The owner of Leicester told TNT Sports: “The goal you acknowledge is a simple goal. This reflects how we performed in the first half of the year.
“If you see the difference between the second half and the second half, then we as a team put pressure on our opponents, the way we’re going to be in an emergency game after winning the duel, we waited too much in the first half.
“We have to put our opponents under pressure in the right way.”
Leicester is “too passive”
Ipswich and Southampton lost their relegated rival Wolves this week, and Leicester missed the opportunity to take advantage, and their display lacked urgency.
Van Nistelrooy added: “We’re too passive. We’re in a situation where we didn’t win the game, but in a three-thirds.
“The pressure is opening up. The way to get out of it is also literally moving forward on the court. This does not mean you have to press it in a V-by-case scenario, but we have to take the initiative.
“We can’t wait to sit down. That’s what we’re in.”

Leicester has not scored in the league in four games, scoring 12 goals in those outings since defeating Tottenham 2-1.
“If you play like this in the first half, you won’t score,” Van Nistelrooy said. “We haven’t even scored yet. In the second half, we’re closer.”
Regarding how he maintains morale in the relegation battle, the Fox boss said, “By believing in the work, turning things around, literally looking forward instead of sitting down. That’s what we need to do.”
Porter is excited about West Ham’s potential
West Ham boss Graham Potter praised his side for his professional performance and said he was excited about the potential his side showed.
He told TNT Sports: “We did a good job with referees in the first half, we drove them back and had good control over the game. Overall, it was a professional performance. It wasn’t great, but we were happy with two wins, two clean sheets and six points.”
“We realized this during the THS season, but not that long. I’m happy for the players.
“They have been working hard. Now they have two wins back to back, which is not easy in the Premier League.”
“There is definitely a lot of potential. Talent is one thing. The foundation must be good. Hopefully they get rewards because there are not enough talent in this league.
“You have to keep the sheets clean, defend well, do well, the players do it and get the reward.”
