Arsenal hits gold medal on ‘uncompetitive’ Hale Ender

Arsenal has a proud history of creating incredible talents through the youth system.

Hale End has created legends from the past few years, such as Liam Brady, David O’Leary and David Roecastle.

This tradition passed through the times, with Cesc Fà bregas, Ashley Cole and even the injured Jack Wilshere, all at the prestigious academy.

The same system is arguably the club’s best player in the current team Bukayo Saka, and it seems there is a promising wave of prospects, including a young man who is already millions taller than the former youth player (Mika Biereth) who has won his name for himself in France now.

Biereth’s impressive rise

Arsenal signed Biereth from Fulham College in the summer of 2021 and moved several loans to RKC Waalwijk, Motherwell and finally Sturm Graz, who sold the latter for £4 million in the summer.

Now, it can be said that agreeing to so much money, plus the young man who never played for the first team, is the Gunners’ smart business.

But, considering that he scored nine goals and four assists in the last 22 games after last season, it does feel like they could have asked for more.

The season has proven to be true, as Denmark’s youngsters were able to score 14 goals and 5 assists in just 25 games before the winter transfer window opened, with a £100.8 million move to Monaco.

On the French Riviera, the former gunman has a growing prospect.

In just ten games, a total of 688 minutes, the 22-year-old was able to score ten goals and provide two assists, meaning he averaged 1.2 goals per game to participate, or every 57.33 minutes.

This means that Biereth scored 24 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 games of the two clubs this season, which begs the question: Is it a mistake to sell him?

Well, no matter the answer, Arsenal can at least rest assured that one of their new academy stars is already much taller than him.

Hale’s end star is worth millions of dollars

One of the several positives of this season is that when we talk about the new Hale End star, at least a few players may be considered.

But in this case, it is certainly an important part of Ethan Nwaneri’s first team from an exciting prospect for the future to become a 17-year-old.

Granted, the injury crisis in the attack has exacerbated his integration to some extent, but because of how he has performed this year, you don’t know this is his first proper senior football sport.

Often referred to as “unplayable” by Wilshre, the teenager who made 26 appearances for the first team this year for a total of 948 minutes, scored seven goals and provided an assist, meaning he averaged every 3.25 games per 3.25 games or every 118.5 minutes.

Not surprisingly, this has already soared his valuation, with football transfers as high as €37.5 million, reaching around £31 million, or more than £20 million Monaco paid Biereth in January.

Ultimately, since Arsenal currently needs a striker, there is a strong argument that selling young Dann is a mistake.

But any annoyance that arises from that decision should be forgotten quickly, just like in Nwaneri, they seem to have a future superstar.
