Vojtech Cihar participated in the 2025 World Youth Championship (WJC) and the 2025 U18 World Championship (WC). In WJC, his goals and two points, averaged nearly seven minutes per game, helped the Czech champion win the bronze medal. Recently, he scored three points in five games at the U18 WC. Cihar is an all-around striker who can do well in any situation. He is a Swiss Army Knife type player and the team likes to have it in the roster.
Cihar plays in the top hockey game of the Czech game, does a great job online, finds rebounds, screens goalkeepers and creates space for teammates. He was quick, cunning, and seemed to often find teammates with high obstacles. He is fast, dangerous on the offense, can play physically, check well, defend better and compete. Cihar calmed down in his team’s defensive zone, staying tight into the middle of the ice, moving around the puck to get himself into a passing lane, but never chased.

Cihar is an omnipotent striker who is not good at anything special, but rarely has real weaknesses. He can play all the forward positions, fight hard and skate well. In the top professional leagues in the Czech Republic, he scored nine points in 43 games. While this doesn’t seem to be an important output, it’s the most important point of U18 teenagers scoring in Czech Extraliga. He scored 16 points in 26 games, representing international competitions.
Cihar is a powerful skater with good speed and solid edges that can dramatically change directions to create space. By skating, he was able to create opportunities in a hurry. His skating is his biggest attribute because he can definitely fly around the ice when he is filled with steam heads. It looks like he could even build on the base with some adjustments to the mechanic.

Cihar is a fast, north-south forward who plays a radical board game, goes into the network and around and finds a way to become a solid support piece. The ability to have all three forward positions means that this “Swiss Army Knife” player has the potential to be a six-forward.
