This video has to be seen to be believed.

The incident occurred 13 years ago on the Women's European Tour in Morocco, which returns to the North African country this week to host qualifying schools.

Of course, car accidents are common at Q School, but we hope no golfer or law enforcement officer has ever experienced a crash like this particular one, real or metaphorical.

It all started out harmlessly, though.

A volunteer sat in the car as Germany's Anja Monke's tee shot pulled up nearby.

The volunteer did not move and waited for the referee to arrive, which was the right thing to do.

The umpire asked Monk to mark her ball, and then her caddy said, “Turn left.”

What happened next was pure carnage.

The driver planted his feet on the floor and turned the steering wheel sharply to the left.

The initial problem was that he was a bit shocked by the speed and tightness of the turns.

In fact, the caddy, the referee and Monk all looked up at this point, somewhat alarmed by his speed.

The second concern is that he doesn't really see a bystander who has to jump out of the way.

The caddy did a pretty good job of doing a double take on the near miss.

But that's not even half of it.

All three of them knew that the show was not over yet.

The driver was still going crazy fast.

If you watch it long enough (and it's well worth it), the driver will actually turn the steering wheel to the right, but the SUV will also move in a straight line at a certain speed.

Now everyone watching is fully aware that the collapse is coming.

As it happened, the carriage crashed directly into a tree, sending the volunteer bouncing back and forth.

Monk raised his hand to his mouth in shock, and the man on the far left did the same.

The caddy put his hands on the referee with fear and surprise, then approached the buggy to check on the rider.

The good news is that he's okay, just a little shaken up.

It was later discovered that his foot was stuck on the accelerator and he could not free himself.

A strange glitch in the steering wheel that failed to turn him to the right was never explained.

Remember, folks: drive carefully, whether off the tee or in your dirt bike.
