Mikel Arteta insists that his Arsenal players are “hungry” and “want more” to beat champion Real Madrid to reach the Champions League semi-finals.
PSG waited for Arteta’s side after Bukayo Saka’s goal and Gabriel Martinelli’s goal and scored a 2-1 victory at Bernabeu, while the Gunners made an unforgettable performance on both legs and won with a 5-1 overall victory.
Saka saw his fines earlier saved while Vinicius’ teenager Vinicius Junior upgraded for Real, but Arsenal had a surprisingly trouble-free night in the Spanish capital, booking his own spot in the last four games for the first time in a decade.

Arteta insists that the victory will give his team confidence in the bifoot semifinals, but he believes the harsh test is waiting for his roster.
Looking ahead to PSG, the Arsenal boss added: “They are an incredible team. I know the manager [Luis Enrique] Really, really, really good, let’s enjoy tonight and start thinking about it as soon as possible.
“They are a different team now. They are incredible in their game right now. But we show tonight that we can compete with any team.
“The mindset will be ready and going. We want to get to that final. We will have to work hard and do a lot of good things, but we certainly have the ability to do that.”
