What is the most surprising driver of 2025 by far

We’ve been over two months now, which means most major OEMs have released their initial driver release for 2025.

With more people fitting new 2025 drivers every day, now seems like a good time for the stems, which drivers are by far the most surprising.

This is exactly the question Golf has asked co-host Kris McCormack this week in the episode.

“There are many different categories. I mean, overall, I’m most surprised – I think [TaylorMade] The QI10 is a huge improvement than they have in the Stealth 2 product, and then the QI35 takes a bigger step than in the QI10. “So if I had to choose one, if I had the most progress in 2025, I might say QI35”

The Taylormade QI35 core driver has a new shape this year, where the overall length of the head extends 8mm from the rear to the front, more like the company’s Max Model, which raises the driver’s MOI to 9K. The core model also has front-to-back CG adjustability through two track adjustment systems (TAS) weight ports.

Like the rest of the QI35 family, the driver’s CG projection has been lowered to help players get consistent ball speed and rotation numbers from more points on their faces.

McCormack summoned the QI35, even though he hadn’t found a suitable combination of head and shafts for him, it was good for him.

“I just don’t spin enough, but I think it works for a lot of people. I’m jealous of the fact that I can’t do it. “And I’m jealous I can’t just throw it together, like, boo, right in my bag.” ”

But that’s not to say that the QI35 is the only model that impressed our fully equipped host.

“Then, you have it, I’m going to jump around. I mean, the stability of the G440 line is that LST is a monster,” McCormack said. “I mean, the Titleist GT product is good. Callaway Elyte’s new facial technology.

“It’s it, like as a gear fan, I find good qualities in everything.

“I saw some of my fastest ball speeds [Titleist] GT. Then, when I tested, I ran into more fairways than any other product [Ping G440]. ”
