The Premier League seems to have gone forever, and the bad news is that waiting will continue.
The final round of fixtures was only last weekend, but has played a lot of football since then, including England’s defeat of Albania on Friday night, and it’s easy to think it’s longer than that.
So, will normal services be restored this weekend?
No, no.
The FA Cup quarterfinals are held on Saturday and Sunday, which means we have to wait a few more days before we can return to the domestic league.
On the plus side, there are four coveted relationships to look forward to, with Crystal Palace heading to Fulham and Brighton on Saturday to host Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa visiting Preston North and Bournemouth on Sunday to meet Manchester City.
The Premier League resumed next Wednesday with some groundbreaking matches.
Tuesday, April 1
Arsenal v. Fulham
Is the Arsenal title challenge really over? Mikel Arteta’s man will be on the table with 12 points from Tappers Liverpool, but Arne Slot’s side doesn’t look convincing, and the Gunners may still have a chance, but they can’t afford any step.
Wolf v West Ham
The Wolves have scored seven points from their last four league games, almost eliminating any fear of relegation. West Ham is treading water and hopes to have a good recruiting summer that will allow Graham Potter to implement his style.
Nottingham Forest v Manchester United
The Forest will worry about the damage Chris Wood suffered against New Zealand in international duties as they have a strong performance for a good season. They have five points of advantage over fourth Chelsea and have the ability to gain a place in the Champions League. For Manchester United’s Manchester United, this cannot be said, they just want to focus on the Europa League with the focus of the league season. Like West Ham, they need a summer reset.

Bournemouth v Ipswich Town
Bournemouth’s European Hope suffered three losses in four games, but they had a chance to return to victory when struggling Ipswich visited Vital Stadium. For Ipswich, the clock was ticking. They are nine points safe. They need to start winning the game quickly.
Brighton v. Aston Villa
Brighton is one of the formalities in the Premier League, with four wins and draws rekindling their hopes of qualifying for Europe. Fabian Hurzeler is ranked seventh around, but only two points in fourth place Chelsea. The villa is two places and two places, but it is still very important.
Manchester City v Leicester City

Southampton v. Crystal Palace
For Southampton, the season’s finale cannot be over quickly. They lost 9 of the last 10 in all matches and won only 9 points in the Premier League. They will play football next season. The palace ranks 12th, like Brentford, still harbors hopes of being qualified in Europe.
Liverpool v Everton
Liverpool went through weeks of pain and withdrew from the Champions League and lost the EFL Cup final. Who is better than city rival Everton? Toffee grabbed a controversial last drawing in the reverse fixture, and everything started after that. This may be naughty.

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur
Two clubs are in the transition phase, but one handles better than the other. Fourth place Chelsea won two of the last three games as they hope to get a spot in Enzo Maresca’s Champions League, which has not had any league since February 22.
