This season, they are 10th, 7th and 18 points higher with the Spurs.
According to multiple sources, the Spurs have made preliminary inquiries about Frank’s availability and the club has seriously considered the 51-year-old Dane as the one who led them forward.
His strong working relationship with Tottenham technical director Johan Lange (also Danish) may be the decisive factor in the final decision.
Although Frank previously described Brentford as “the perfect job”, he admitted earlier this year that he would not be there forever. His tactical flexibility and calm manner make him a strong candidate for the Spurs to bear pressure and expectations.
Marco Silva (Fulham)
Marco Silva rebuilds his reputation at Fulham, coaching the club to a steady mid-table end over the past three seasons. The Portuguese coach has been successful throughout Europe, winning silverware in Portugal and Greece, and his experience in the Premier League has added to his appeal.

Anthony Eral (Bornemouth)
Ilala is widely regarded as one of the outstanding managers of the Premier League this season. The 42-year-old Spaniard led Bournemouth to an impressive ninth finish, only missing out on European qualifications.
Ilala is known for its high-intensity, pressing style, a natural fit for the Spurs squad, which echoes elements of Postecoglou’s expected style, but has a greater balance of defense. But with Bournemouth rising, Elara may feel that his business on the South Coast is not completed.
Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace)
Oliver Glasner received praise from extraordinary spells at Crystal Palace. The Austrian led the Hawks to qualify for the FA Cup defeat to Manchester City and Europe, and the club’s prospects have changed since taking over in February 2024.

Former Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi is currently successful at Ligue 1, bringing Marseille to second place and qualifying for the Champions League. The Spurs will also compete in Europe’s elite competition next season and may return to England.
Other potential candidates
