Tiger Woods competed in the first three games of his TGL team, but would miss the 15-time Grand Slam title when Jupiter Link competes in the Bay Golf Club.
Woods competed for the first time since last Tuesday since his mother Kultida died, but he admitted after Jupiter lost it was an emotional return.
“It’s hard for me to drive here,” Woods said. “I haven’t played golf since I played with the president and just shut everything down. It’s hard for me to get here and then revisit our mom’s All the moments, she made Charlie drive here so excited. So these are some good moments and wonderful memories. It was a tough process.”

When asked if he knew when he would make his debut on the PGA Tour, Woods knew exactly what golf is now at the farthest from him.
“I really didn’t think about golf, so I don’t think I’m going to think about it here,” Woods said.
Woods is TGL’s biggest attraction and is involved in the Tech League’s most famous moment in season one. Woods is the first player in TGL history to commit a shooting shot violation. Last week, he mistakenly used a 56-degree wedge to play a 199-yard shot in the distance.
With Woods sitting outside, Jupiter Link is currently outside the TGL playoff picture and will run out of Kevin Kisner, Tom Kim and Max Homa , facing the unbeaten Bay Team. Shane Lowry, Wyndham Clark and Min Woo Lee will form the Bay’s lineup. Ludvig Aberg sat outside.
Although it remains an imperfect product, TGL has gained serious momentum in half of its first season, showing the flexibility and adaptability needed to thrive. It still needs to polish things, but has been successful so far.
As for Woods, his next appearance is unknown.
He said he wanted to attend more events with the Masters leadership, but golf correctly occupied the seat after his mother’s accidental death.
Woods isn’t at the Palm Beach Cognitive Classic this week. He may hope to compete in the Arnold Palmer Invitational next week or the player championship in two weeks.
