Wolf wants to rent £45 million

Wolves are perhaps the biggest team in the Premier League right now, winning all the last five games, scoring ten goals, only four.

It’s safe to say that since its arrival in December, Vitor Pereira has done a great job, driving the wolf from 19th to 15th.

With five games, Pereria’s side can even lead 13th in Manchester United and Everton, who currently maintain level with Wolves (38)’s scoring.

What makes the Wolves’ strong performance even more impressive is that their star man, Matheus Cunha, has been missing three of his last five wins, only starting against Manchester United before he faces Tottenham from the bench.

Giant money deals, controversial moves and big-name slippers. This is the hometown of football fans’ transfer news and opinions.

According to TBR Football, Wolves are interested in borrowing Chelsea striker João Félix. He also attracted the interest of West Ham, the 25-year-old who has spent the interim position in AC Milan in the past few months, has previously played only a part of the role on Enzo Maresca’s Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea only signed Felix in the 2024/25 summer transfer window, and Portugal International joined the club for £45 million. AC Milan then paid £5 million in loan fees for Felix, allowing the Blues to recover a small amount of money.

Felix made higher shots, producing higher XGs per game while also making more progress in passing. That being said, he has been struggling with regular goals and assists since illuminating things to Benfica as a young man.

Scout Jacek Kulig even described the Portuguese talent as “pure gold” after spending a lot of money to bring him to the club. So if he could find this level of form again, he would be a huge asset to Molino.

Cunha, on the other hand, took his game to the next level this semester, especially with better rankings in carrying metrics, higher yields and more shooting moves per game on average.

Creating a shooting action is the game that leads to a shot. These include moments like passes, takeovers or fouls.

Despite the current quality, they obviously have similar traits, and Felix may actually thrive with the role of Kuna in the wolf.

Matheus-Cunha-1

He will be the main figure of the team, possessing a license to roam and have a key in Pereira’s offense, and then finally seeing the Portuguese striker showcase his talent on the court, resulting in better output and numbers.
