Rantanen

After a bland performance in the first 40 minutes, the Dallas Stars (50-21-4) exploded with four goals in the third stage to beat the Nashville Predators 5-1 (27-41-8). Stars have now won seven games in a row.

Mikael Granlund, Mason Marchment, Roope Hintz, Wyatt Johnston and Lian Bichsel are the star’s goal scorers. Jake Oettinger made 28 saves.

Steven Stamkos scored his only goal for Nashville. Justus Annunen made 22 saves.

Game review

Stamkos put the Predators on the board at 4:37 in the second phase and took less than 25 minutes to break the 0-0 draw. Stamkos shot his wrist from a tight angle to the right of Oettinger, beating the five holes of the Dallas networker.

Granlund tied the game up with a beautiful tip from the right circle of Matt Duchene’s shot in 19:24, which went straight to Annunen’s right shoulder.

In the first 39 minutes of the hockey game, the stars struggled to find any offense, defeating 21-9 at some point in the second stage. The Predators led 26-15 at the end of the second phase, but entered the third 1-1 score.

Dallas started the third inning and just as they ended the second, the parade teams scored a quick shot in the season 20 points, beating Annunen.

At 5:47, Hinz completed the perfect Rantanen-Robertson-Hintz and tipped on the left side of the crease. This goal is Xinz’s 28 games this season.

In a breakthrough game, Johnston broke the game at 9:45 and made a false move against Annuning, beating the goalkeeper’s right. Johnston scored six straight games.

As Bichsel scored his third game this season, the star’s offensive blast continued, thanks to a beautiful plate pass Rantanen got from the right board and found Bichsel to the high end alone. With the help of assists, Lantanan now has 700 professional points.

The star beat 29-27 but ended up scoring 5-1. Nashville played 2-2 in the power play, while Dallas scored 4-4.

The stars resumed their actions Saturday afternoon as they received the Pittsburgh penguins. The Predators will take a few nights off before hosting the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night.
