Man Utd

Since Ruben Amorim took over Manchester United in late 2024, the Red Devils have had to adapt to a new 3-4-2-1 system. In many ways, this is a good thing because of how much they struggled in the bottom four of Erik Ten Hag.

This means that many players need to reshape certain aspects of the game to fit how Amorim sets up his side. For example, winger Alejandro Garnacho had to play ten wingers who were eliminated.

Diogo Dalot is another player who needs to adapt and has been playing rebounds in recent weeks.

Dalot’s form under Amorim

Life under Amorim has been busy with Dalot. He has been a major player in the new Red Devils boss and has played 24 games in all games so far. He only missed one match, which was the Premier League 3-1 defeat to Southampton.

Dalot also managed to get himself into the scoring table earlier this season, scoring well in the Europa League against Romanian side FCSB.

He turned the ghost on the back post and used his extended legs to transform Kobbie Mainoo’s cross.

But, for Dalot, things aren’t as easy as they seem. His figure is sometimes mottled, and the host of football analysts and hosts is: Collapse H is particularly criticized.

He said in early February that the US 20 had been “trash for several months”, indicating that he was in very poor condition.

In the pipeline

Portugal International failed to cross Rasmus Hojlund in a 16-round clash against Real Sociedad on Thursday night in Manchester United’s Europa League clash against Real Sociedad on Thursday night, when Dane excelled in creating space for himself.

Sports journalist Laurie Whitwell said the Manchester United forward was “crazy” at right back for failing to pass.

It was really a tough few months for Dalot, his figure was spotty. Maybe it’s time for Amorim to look elsewhere to reduce the workload of the right-wing defender.

There is one option among the academy where he can turn to help.

Manchester United’s academy defender solution

Even at their worst moments, one thing as a football club can always be proud of their academy. The Red Devils have a lot of exciting stars in their respected Carrington Academy.

The solution to reduce Dalot’s burden might be young guard Jaydan Kamason. The 18-year-old has been outstanding in youth this season and has been described as a “different class” by an academic insider on X.

This season, he has made 27 appearances in all games, scored two goals and scored an impressive 6 assists. His performance in the FA Youth Cup is excellent.

Kamason scored two assists in the fifth round of Chelsea’s 5-1 demolition and scored a sensational goal against Arsenal in the quarter-finals, with Manchester United winning 3-2 in overtime.

Kamason also impressed Red Devils this season with the Red Devils in the UEFA Youth League. One of his best performances was FK Zalgiris’ 5-2 hit.

According to Sofascore, the defender had 121 goals and completed 96% of the passes. He also won 100% tackle.

There is no doubt that Kamason seems to be an exciting talent for Amorim’s team. Given his name this semester, he obviously has an offensive Nuss and is also an excellent defender.

After impressing the college this semester, the 18-year-old may be the first team premiere, not out of reach, to relieve Dalot’s burden and release another talented college graduate.

As journalist Shaun Connolly said, Carmason must have “knocked” the explosion at the door, not later.
