Marco Asensio braces in the second half Saturday night when Aston Villa beat Chelsea 2-1 from the back.
Villa’s two election loan signings, Asensio and Marcus Rashford, recovered twice in early goals by Enzo Fernandez the reward for the famous victory before their masters.
However, Villa’s winner was involved in a lot of wealth after Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen allowed Asensio’s strike to slide into his finger.
The result put Villa in seventh place, while Chelsea had a poor performance, sixth place after lacking the chance to break into the top four.

How to unfold
Within 10 minutes, Chelsea is ahead. A crazy run from Neto drives the winger along the line, then passes the ball over the goal’s face, and waits for the bundling to go home in the upcoming Fernandez.

Advantage Bruce. But it wasn’t long before Ollie Watkins’ shot stabbed Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen’s leg.
After the break, Marcus Rashford was introduced as Emery hoped to instill further offensive abilities into his side.

Cole Palmer then had a great chance to restore Chelsea’s lead. But the England international was hesitant, and the delay allowed Ezri Konsa to recover and block the final effort.
The game begins to open. One team thinks this seems insufficient.
Villa claimed it was impossible, and certainly, the draw claimed that advantage as the game headed to the second half of the downtime.
Rashford skated over Donyell Malen, but Jorgensen equals it. However, from the final short corner, Asensio encountered Rashford’s ball, his shot squeezed into the hands of the Chelsea goalkeeper.
