In Augusta National’s first round, senior major champion Justin Rose almost summed up a round for the age group’s round. Rose is below six of his first 10 holes and then slows down. Still, his work in the first nine games resulted in seven under the age of 65.

Rose will lead with four shots in the second round of Masters, but many other star players are hunting. These chasers include defending champion Scottie Scheffler, U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau and the young phenomenon Ludvig Aberg.

Rory McIlroy was approaching the top of the rankings on Thursday, but two late double bogeys soared.
