Mauricio Pochettino, former Tottenham Hotspur manager, said he would love to go back to the club one day.
The 53-year-old is a manager in the United States, but the Spurs reached the Champions League final before being fired in November 2019.
He has four straight top four in the Premier League and has faced championship challenges in the 2015-16-16 and 2016-17 seasons, although he said he has a good relationship with Spurs chairman Danielly Levy since managing Chelsea and Paris St-Germain.
“When I left the club, I remember saying I hope to go back to Tottenham one day,” he told Sky Sports.
“Six years later, I still feel inside, yes, I want to come back one day”🗣️

“I’m in the U.S. right now, but what I’m saying is that after six to five years, I still feel inside, yes, I hope to come back one day.”
Tottenham Hotspurs ranked 14th in the league list, scoring 34 points from 29 games, and their season seems to be relying on the Europa League.
Levy saw fans protesting him recently, but Pochettino added: “After almost six years, it’s really hard to live together because I think we’ve gone through so much up and down and emotional things.
“One thing is professional, the other is personal, and now, like the day after we left Tottenham, we have been in a good relationship.”
Next year, the United States will qualify for the World Cup together with Mexico and Canada.
