Revealed plans for the new 100,000-seat UTD Stadium
The main breakthrough news recently released by Old Trafford is the Red Devils’ plans to knock down historic ground and build a new 100,000-capacity stadium.
Man Utd announced plans for a new arena this week that will be built near the existing Old Trafford and will cost about £20 billion.

Images of the planned new stadium show three masts described as “tridents” and will be 200m tall and can be seen 25 miles away. The club hopes the stadium can be built in just five years, although it is unclear how to fund it, while Manchester United currently has £1 billion in debt.
Speaking about the plans for the new stadium, CEO Omar Berrada said: “Our long-term goal as a club is to have the best football team in the world play at the best stadium in the world. We thank the Old Trafford Regeneration Task Force for the feasibility work done and explore the options for the future of Old Trafford.
“We have carefully considered its findings, as well as the views of thousands of fans and local residents, and concluded that a new stadium is the right path for Manchester United and the communities around us. Now we will conduct further consultations to ensure that fans and residents continue to be heard as we move towards the final decision.”
The new stadium may also affect team spending, but many players continue to be linked to the summer move to Old Trafford before Ruben Amorim took charge of his first full season.
One of these goals is Atlanta midfielder Ederson, who recently developed a new approach to interest in 2024. Now, the Brazilian has seen a brand new update and has a potential transfer to the UK.
Man Utd tells Atalanta they bid for £50m
According to a pass from Italian sports witness, Atalanta, who played in the Champions League this season, tried to renew Ederson’s contract, but the players were interested elsewhere.
One of the clubs is Man Utd, who told Atalanta that “the €60 million offer is in the future” and Ederson is fascinated by the Premier League match.
Juventus is also keen on Serie A stars, but Manchester United is best suited to sign the 25-year-old, and a £50 million bid may be enough.
Ederson has been one of the best performers in Atalanta this season, with an average game average of 6.98/10. There is no more fouls in every game than Ederson, and from the outside, he might be a potential replacement for Old Trafford Christian Eriksen or Casemiro.
