Overtime Curls Win Game 2 for Frost – Hockey Writer – PWHL

On Thursday, May 22, Ottawa alleged to preside over Minnesota Frost to compete in Game 2 of the Pro Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Walter Cup Final. It worked overtime and Frost won the game 2-1. With Minnesota’s victory, the series is now tied 1-1.

With 37 seconds left in the game, Vanisova was given a free throw again, this time tripping. Vanisova sits down, frost capitalizes. Frost won the standoff and sent the puck back to Lee Stecklin. She passed it to Claire Thompson, who shot the shot blocked by Gwyneth Philips. Britta Curl-Salemme picked up the loose puck, tilted it into the net, and tied it up for 16 seconds. This match will work overtime to decide the winner.

Thompson passed the hockey to Melissa River Watkins 16 minutes after overtime. She slid it through the neutral zone and into the frost attack zone. Channel Watkins fired and bounced off Zoe Boyd’s skateboard. Curl-Salemme picked up the loose puck and scored 2-1 to win the game.

Frost will be charged on Saturday, May 24 ET.
